Job Description:
As a Quality Inspector, your role will be crucial in maintaining high-quality standards within our organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reading blueprints and instructions to understand the quality expectations for products and supplies.
- Approving or rejecting raw materials based on quality standards and recording supplier performance.
- Selecting output samples and conducting various checks using appropriate methods, such as measuring dimensions, testing functionality, and comparing to specifications.
- Utilizing automated systems to perform complex testing procedures.
- Maintaining records of testing, information, and various metrics, including the number of defective products per day.
- Inspecting procedures throughout the production cycle to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Monitoring equipment usage to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met and removing any equipment that doesn't meet requirements.
- Preparing and submitting reports to the quality manager.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a quality inspector or in a relevant role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
- A strong sense of responsibility and trustworthiness.
- Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems.
- A comprehensive understanding of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
- Certification in quality control, such as ISO 9000, is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in working with MS Office applications.
