Knowledge of quality control weld standards and testing methodologies

Working knowledge of MS Office

Familiarity with quality measurement tools

Ability to lift and move approximately 50LBS repetitively

Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment when in the manufacturing area, including but not limited to safety glasses and safety shoes

Responsibilities

Establish quality standards for products that the company produces

Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards

Recommending any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes

Communication with the inventory team

Ability to read measuring tape, micrometer, calipers

Inspecting and testing the materials and equipment produced

Performing inspections at random to assess product quality

Remove products that do not meet production standards and recommend strategies to improve product quality

Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection/rework results with the production team

 

 

Position Summary is looking for a responsible Quality Engineer to check the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and products. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. Knowledge and comprehension of quality standards is essential. The goal is to ensure that our products are made of flawless materials with well-functioning equipment that meet our customer's high standards.

 

Education and experience • Highschool Diploma or GED.
