Qualifications • The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed • Highschool Diploma or GED • Knowledge of quality control weld standards and testing methodologies • Working knowledge of MS Office • Familiarity with quality measurement tools • Behavioral • Concern for quality, accuracy, and safety • Attention to detail • Ability to prioritize and manage own time efficiently to meet deadlines • Positive attitude • Ability to work well with others, including peers, management, representatives, customers, and visitors • Motor skills sufficient to successfully operate equipment • Ability to do physical labor for extended periods of time as needed, up to 8 hours per day, though possibly more • Ability to lift and move approximately 50LBS repetitively • Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment when in the manufacturing area, including but not limited to safety glasses and safety shoes |
Responsibilities • You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business • The goal is to ensure that our products are made of flawless materials with well-functioning equipment that meet our customer's high standards • Establish quality standards for products that the company produces • Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards • Recommending any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes • Communication with the inventory team • Ability to read measuring tape, micrometer, calipers • Inspecting and testing the materials and equipment produced • Performing inspections at random to assess product quality • Remove products that do not meet production standards and recommend strategies to improve product quality • Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection/rework results with the production team |

Education and experience • Highschool Diploma or GED.
