Job Opportunity: Environmental Services - Housekeeping

Position Summary: Join our team in maintaining a clean and orderly hospital environment! As a member of the Environmental Services Department, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and providing quality service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide quality customer service by paying attention to detail.
• Perform various cleaning duties, including sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and polishing floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies; shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers; dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make up beds and change linens as required.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
• Respond to guest queries and requests.
• Address housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glass.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.

Qualifications:

• NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Punctuality is a must.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Cooperation and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to perform routine repetitive tasks independently.
• Ability to accomplish all duties without constant supervision.
