Join Our Dedicated Ground Maintenance Team: A Fulfilling Role Serving Families in Their Time of Need

We are seeking a committed and compassionate individual to provide essential grounds and maintenance services, including burial, landscaping, and burial marker installation. This position offers the opportunity to work both indoors and outdoors, contributing meaningfully to families' experiences during a significant time in their lives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Burial Assistance: Perform openings and closings for burials, entombments, and inurnments.
• Landscaping: Operate mowers, weed eaters, and blowers; dig graves; place headstones; haul dirt; and set up and tear down gravesites.
• Marker Installation: Set, install, and assemble foundations, memorials, and markers.
• Maintenance Requests: Handle and complete work orders for grave and marker maintenance.
• Grave Site Preparation: Ensure a clean and neat appearance within a 25-foot radius of burials, including filling, tamping, seeding, or sodding graves.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to Company safety rules and Universal Precautions.
• Training and Standards: Complete assigned Dignity training and adhere to the Dignity Memorial Promise.

Requirements:

• Driving: Acceptable driving record; applicable license(s) to operate equipment/vehicles.
• Experience: Minimum of six (6) months experience operating standard and mechanical equipment such as dump trucks, tractors, utility vehicles, markers, trailers, jack hammers, tampers, and backhoes.
• Skills: Ability to use hand-held tools; ability to accurately measure; effective communication with team members and client families.
• Physical Ability: Capability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Work Conditions:

• Environment: Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Hours: 40 hours a week, with flexibility to work beyond standard hours as needed.
