Position: CNC Lathe Operator Location: Chattanooga, TN

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Setup and Operation: Handle the setup and operation of CNC lathe and chamfering equipment, following standard operating procedures (SOPs), work orders, and instructions from supervisors.
2. Inspection: Constantly monitor and inspect materials at different stages of production.
3. Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with fellow employees to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety.
4. Maintenance: Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and work area regularly.
5. Record Keeping: Maintain necessary records according to SOPs and work instructions.
6. Quality Assurance: Test samples and conduct 1st piece and final inspections, reporting any non-conformances.
7. Safety and Environmental Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and understand the environmental policies in line with the ISO 140001 standard.
8. Physical Demands: Ability to consistently lift up to 40 pounds and perform various physical tasks throughout the shift.
