Whether you have a little or a lot of experience in welding, we invite you to join our team as a Welding Trainee. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent TCAT grads or those looking to start their career in welding.

Shift and Pay:

• Schedule: Mon-Fri, 2:30p-11p
• Pay: $18.00 - $22.00+ per hour, depending on experience (DOE)

Welders Job Description: As a welder, you will work with hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as MiG welders and Flux, and carry out the following responsibilities:

• Welding & Cutting: Join together components of fabricated sheet metal assemblies or cut/trim metal objects to dimensions specified by layout, work orders, or blueprints.
• Building Parts: Build parts to print specifications with accuracy within stated tolerances.
• Efficiency: Production efficiency requirements must meet or exceed job standards as determined by each job.
• Other Duties: May perform additional tasks as requested or participate on project teams.
• Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment, and adhere to necessary safety protocols. This includes wearing necessary welding hood, safety glasses, and covering.
• Jig Construction: Layout tables and/or build jigs to blueprint specifications.

Qualifications:

• Little or much experience in welding is welcome; must pass a welding test.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and work orders.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tolerances.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
