Description

Skilled Welder Position - $19/hour

Responsibilities:

  1. Certified Mig Welder Expertise:
    Expertly weld small, medium, and large bore pipes made of various metals and alloys.
    Possess certification as a Mig Welder.
    Perform soldering and brazing on copper pipes.

  2. Mechanical Installations:
    Execute complex mechanical installations according to engineering instructions.

  3. Blueprint Interpretation:
    Read and comprehend construction drawings and specifications.

  4. Layout and Installation:
    Lay out and install piping, equipment, and other mechanical systems in compliance with construction drawings and specifications.

  5. Documentation and Reporting:
    Mark up construction drawings and specifications with as-built status.
    Collaborate with Thermal Systems Engineers and Site Construction Manager to procure necessary tools, equipment, supplies, and materials.

  6. Teamwork:
    Collaborate effectively with other crews and lead persons.

  7. Tool and Equipment Maintenance:
    Maintain responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned to the group.

Qualifications:

  1. Reading and Comprehension:
    Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.

  2. Basic Computer Skills:
    Capability to learn basic computer skills for communication and documentation.

  3. Safety Awareness:
    Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety.

  4. Communication Skills:
    Ability to receive and follow instructions and effectively communicate with co-workers.
