Now Hiring: Extrusion Machine Operator

Join our team as an extrusion machine operator and contribute to creating high-quality products by controlling and maintaining extrusion machinery. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with 12-hour swing shifts. We provide training to operate an extrusion machine, and we need dedicated workers to perform several critical tasks.

Shifts:

• 12-hour swing shifts
• 3 or 4 days a week
• Switching between 7:00 AM to 7:15 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:15 AM each week

Responsibilities:

• Mix thermoplastic materials with colored dyes and feed them into the extrusion machine.
• Set the dials and controls on the machine for the right size, shape, and thickness.
• Measure and test the product to confirm it meets specifications.
• Keep the hopper full of compound.
• Package the product according to work instructions.
• Complete quality checks as required by inspection sheets.
• Grind scrap material and prepare packaging.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and healthful workplace by keeping the work area clean and orderly.
• Comply with all quality system procedures and work instructions.

Requirements:

• Experience as a machine operator is preferred but not required.
• Detail-oriented and responsible.
• Ability to work swing shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to comply with all safety regulations.

Compensation:

• Paid weekly.
