Quality Inspector
Location: Multiple locations available.
We are actively seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our production team. The individual in this role will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the established quality standards by conducting various inspections and tests. Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a quality inspector or in a relevant role in production or manufacturing.
- Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Trustworthiness: Must be responsible and trustworthy, handling sensitive information and product integrity.
- Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems, including automated testing procedures.
- Standards Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies, such as ISO 9000.
- Certifications: Certification of quality control is considered a strong advantage.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of MS Office.
Description:
- Reading Blueprints: Understand the quality expectations for the product and supplies through reading blueprints and instructions.
- Material Inspection: Approve or reject raw materials according to quality standards and record supplier performance.
- Sample Testing: Select output samples for quality checks using appropriate methods, such as measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications, etc.
- Automated Systems: Utilize automated systems for complex testing procedures.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain records of testing, defects, and other relevant metrics.
- Process Inspection: Inspect the entire production cycle procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Equipment Monitoring: Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring it is safe and well-maintained, and discard any that doesn't meet requirements.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports to the quality manager, highlighting any areas of concern or opportunities for improvement.
