We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Railroad Repair Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for responding to local railroad repair needs, inspecting and identifying damaged tracks, and replacing or repairing them as needed. This role requires adherence to safety guidelines and the ability to document daily activities accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to calls for local railroad repairs.
• Inspect and identify damaged tracks, determining the extent and nature of the damage.
• Replace or repair damaged tracks as needed, using proper tools and techniques.
• Document daily activities, including repairs made, materials used, and any observations.
• Implement and strictly follow all safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Must be punctual, motivated, and show a strong mechanical inclination.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in railroad repair or related mechanical field preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow safety guidelines and protocols.
• Strong mechanical skills, with the ability to use various tools and equipment.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent documentation skills.
