Quality Inspector

Job Description:

As a Quality Inspector, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications. You will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to identify defects or deviations from quality standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and instructions to understand quality expectations for products and materials.
• Approve or reject raw materials based on quality standards and document supplier performance.
• Select samples from production output and perform various tests (e.g., measuring dimensions, functional testing) to ensure they meet specifications.
• Use automated systems for complex testing procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of testing, performance metrics, and defective product counts.
• Inspect all stages of the production cycle to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
• Monitor equipment usage to ensure it is safe and well-maintained, removing any unsafe equipment from service.
• Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager summarizing inspection findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a quality inspector or in a relevant role.
• Strong attention to detail and a results-driven approach to work.
• Trustworthy and responsible.
• Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems.
• Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
• Certification in quality control (e.g., ISO 9000) is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in using MS Office applications.
